🎬 About This Workshop

It’s time for another incredible guest workshop – this time with writer and director Dominic Stephenson.

Dominic is a filmmaker from the North of England whose award-winning short films quickly caught the attention of executives at ITV, leading him to direct on flagship dramas Coronation Street and Emmerdale. Most recently, he directed six episodes of the Emmy-nominated children’s sci-fi series Odd Squad, where he brought together his passion for visual effects and sharp, playful storytelling.

Beyond television, Dominic is also the writer and director of the BBC-shortlisted audio drama Project Bläckfisk (available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts). With a background in both Assistant Directing and Visual Effects, he offers a rare combination of technical precision and creative instinct – alongside a strong, practical understanding of working with actors and performance.
